内容摘要： 在明朝与后金两大势力对峙形势下，喀尔喀蒙古由于处于特殊的地理位置，并凭借自身强大的军事实力，成为双方争取的焦点。作为喀尔喀蒙古巴约特部台吉，恩格德尔很早就与后金建立了联系，是喀尔喀蒙古与后金交往的使者，努尔哈赤通过他的往来奔走有效地协调后金与喀尔喀蒙古的纠纷，达到增进双方关系的目的。由于恩格德尔与后金的特殊关系，吸引了喀尔喀蒙古众台吉与塔布囊归附后金，对后金分化喀尔喀蒙古，孤立察哈尔起到重大作用。 Abstract: Due to the confrontation between the Ming Dynasty and the Later the particular geographic position as well as its powerful military strength, Jin Dynasty, and Khalkha Mongolia became the focus of which both the Ming Dynasty and the Later Jin Dynasty would make efforts to win as their ally. As a Bayut Taiji of Khalkha Mongolia, Engdel had established connections with Later Jin Dynasty early. Through Engdel＇s efforts as the messenger, Nurhaci a- chieved in solving disputes between Khalkha Mongolia and the Later Jin Dynasty, and improved their bilateral relations. Thus a lot of Taiji and Tabona were attracted to join the Later Jin Dynasty.
