内容摘要： 本文以挪威人类学家巴特的田野民族志材料为依据，介绍并评述了其两本主要著作：《斯瓦特巴坦人的政治过程》和《族群与族界》，侧重对其中的“行动者”和“族界”概念进行了介绍和分析；在此基础上梳理了这两个概念在巴特早期理论发展中的联系；探讨了巴特是如何将其所创新的“行动者”观念与传统的人类学理论联系在一起的。本文意在指出，将巴特视为传统人类学的异端是一种片面的看法，突出强调了他在理论研究中将新的行动者思想与传统人类学的社会关系旨趣进行平衡的努力。 Abstract: This essay is the introduction of Political Leadership among Swat Pathans and Ethnic Groups and Boundaries, two of the most famous works of Fredrik Barth. Based on the Ethnographic evidence in these two books, a pair of key concepts, ＂actor＂ and ＂boundary＂ specially are discussed and analyzed. This essay discovered not only the relationship between the two concepts, but also the way Barth linked the new view of ＂actor＂ with the traditional theory of anthropology. The author concludes that it is inappropriate to regard Barth as a heresy of traditional anthropology.
